Edward Cherniga

  • Edward ChernigaA freelance artist, Edward has been published through many mediums including comic books and sketch cards, and has also enjoyed being a concept and tattoo flash designer on many projects. Already becoming a standout in his field, he gained an even broader fan base in 2011 with his contributions to trading card sets, such as The Walking Dead for Cryptozoic/AMC, Vampirella for Breygent Marketing, and The Bettie Page Private Collection for Versicolor Productions.

Edward’s talent has also been seen on the pages of Marvel Comics {Epic Illustrated}, and Dark Horse Comics {ghost pencils for Bob Burden on Mystery Men}.

Most recently, he has had the pleasure of working with Upper Deck/Marvel, completing Avengers Assemble, and he is looking forward to upcoming projects for Marvel Beginnings (Upper Deck/Marvel), The Tarzan 100th Anniversary (Cryptozoic), and Vampirella (Breygent Marketing).

A true illustrator at heart, Edward is also an astute autodidact who seeks verisimilitude rather than photo-realism to capture “the burning instant” that tells the story in a natural and captivatingly authentic manner.

Currently living in Tennessee, Edward enjoys reading, spending time with friends, exploring, traveling and learning about the world, that is, when he actually tears himself away from his drawing board.
