Robert Hack

  • Robert HackWhat can be said of Pennsylvania’s own Robert Hack that hasn’t already been scrawled on countless bathroom walls in Sharpie? Born in the mid-seventies, Robert missed out on much of human history. Long past were the days of speakeasys, gas-lit streets, and crossing the Bering Land Bridge to escape Asia’s cruel winters. Robert was birthed into a world already well past it’s prime. And, with so little left to do, he fills his days doodling. Discovering comic books at a early age, he decided to pursue arrested development as a career path, devoting much of his life to drawing funnybooks and watching cartoons.

Robert’s decision has led him to achieve his ultimate nerdy childhood goal of working on Doctor Who comics, providing covers for IDW’s Doctor Who Classics reprints over three generations of Doctor. Some of his other comics work include Kolchak, FCA (Fawcett Collectors of America), 86 Voltz, Big Bang Comics, Mice Templar, Sorrow, Black Coat, and Post Scriptum. Robert is also preparing several of his own creations, “The Templar” and “Professor Hollow, The Deadtective” for their comics debut.

But not content to stick to comics, Robert has drawn sketch cards for Cult Stuff (Sherlock Holmes & Victorian Crime, War of the Worlds, Age of Sorcery, and Monsters Zombies & Freaks), Breygent Marketing (Vampirella, Project Superpowers, Red Sonja, Warlord of Mars, and Vampirella 2012), 5FINITY (Archie, Zombies VS Cheerleaders, and Moonstone), and Strictly Ink (Doctor Who Trilogy, 2000AD, Hammer Horror Doctor Who Big Screen, CSI -LV Miami & NY, Avengers, New Avengers, Celebrity Sketchers, Ray Harryhausen, and Hammer Horror 2). Robert has several upcoming projects that have yet to be announced.
